Shella Robinson's love of viewing and making art started at a very young age. Her mother is a professional visual artist. Throughout her childhood, there were always ample art supplies and books readily available to be inspired by and explored in her studio. This, combined with many memorable art museum visits, classes, and lots of enthusiasm and encouragement to be creative, instilled a long lasting passion and appreciation for art and artists. Shella pursued art in college, earning a B.F.A. from the University of Oregon and a M.F.A. from the State University of New York, New Paltz.

Shella continues to be passionate about art and is the owner of Art Consultants Group, which was founded by January Sarasohn. Prior to Art Consultants Group, Shella was the Associate Director at a prominent contemporary art gallery in NYC, where she worked for over seven years. Art Consultants Group has successfully worked with countless clients to guide them through the art selection and acquisition process, the expansion and updating of existing collections and facilitating the framing, transport and installation of all scales and genres of art.
