| Art Consultants
Group acts as resource consultants to Designers, Architects, Facility
Managers, Healthcare and Corporate Clients, as well as others who
decide upon artwork for a particular facility. Our process, whether it be for
building an art program or choosing a few works for a specific area, centers
around communication and understanding the client. We often tailor the process
to our clients, but the following is a description of how projects for purchasing
artworks often develop. |
| We begin by setting
up a meeting at the client's location where we are able to
talk to the people involved with the selection process. There is often a walk
through of the space and then an opportunity to look at visual materials that
we have brought. This allows for a dialogue to begin so we can get a sense of a
visual direction for the space and for the client aesthetically. |
|
|
|
| From given floor
plans and onsite inspection we can evaluate the scale and
placement of art best suited for the area. Initially, if a budget has been formulated
we will coordinate a presentation ensured to stay within capital guidelines
and provide the highest quality art within that category. In situations where
there is some element of doubt, and advice is requested, we will freely offer our
professional knowledge. |
| During the second
phase of the project, we take everything that we have
learned from our initial communications with the client and put together a written
proposal and package of artworks for the client to review. We welcome any
and all feedback from the client after reviewing this package so that we may use
this information to further refine the selection of artworks to the needs of the
client. |
| This is how the process
initially gets underway. Each project has its own variables
along the way to completion and we develop and change the process
according to the client as we proceed step by step. |
